Jul 18, 2024 Visited my collaborator at the University of Tokyo, Prof. Jun Kurima and his group, for three days (7/15-7/18). Also met Prof. Takeshi Tsuji and Prof. Tokio Morimoto.
Jul 12, 2024 Visited my collaborator, Prof. Ryota Hashimoto, at Kyoto University for one week (7/8-7/12). During the visit, I gave a seminar presentation to his group on “Recent advances in material point method (MPM) for modeling hydro-mechanical and seismic-related problems”.
Jul 2, 2024 Visited my undergraduate alma mater, Kyushu University, for two days (7/1-7/2). It was great to catch up with my former professors and colleagues, as well as meeting some new friends.
